Pissup Tours is a bachelor party agency founded in 2001 with its biggest office based in Budapest, Hungary, though we also have offices and staff in Copenhagen, Lugano, Hamburg, Prague and many other places. Business Assistant - Controller

Task:

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Contribute to the company's financial control and business administration of entities in the company group
    • Coordinate, monitor and control liabilities, receipts and financial accounts in cooperation with external accountants
    • Follow-up of suppliers and subcontractors invoice approvals
    • Main contact for external accountants
    • Develop and operate a monitoring and reporting system (monthly reports)
    • Prepare data for evaluating the business status of the enterprise in the current period
    • Support the Financial Controller in finance related tasks
    • Review and calculate accruals to ensure the month-end results show the clear and fair picture on the P&L and ensure smooth and accurate month-end closing
    • Participate in the monthly forecast cycle
    • Provide quality and meaningful analyses to stakeholders
    • Continuously monitor the respective P&L accounts for any inconsistencies
    • Support decisions and execute ad hoc analyses
    • Support the business departments of the company in annual operating planning and medium-term planning
    • Support pre / post analyses

Expectation:

    What you need to have:

    • University / College degree in finance / accounting / business
    • 1-3 years working experience in a mid-size or large corporate environment
    • Preferably strong Financial Accounting / Reporting / Controlling experience
    • English communication skill is a must
    • MS applications
    • Strong/advanced Excel knowledge and
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
    • Good communication and presentation skills, able to clearly communicate own view and manage expectations and able to prioritize
    • Strong analytical skills, able to see and understand the big picture and deliver high level messages, offering alternative solutions for issues.
