• Manage accounting processes in compliance with US GAAP, with a focus on ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Perform reconciliations and support month-end close activities.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Legal and Finance teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Prepare journal entries and perform general ledger reconciliations
• Analyse foreign currency movements and support financial reporting activities
• Prepare internal financial reports and supporting documentation

• participation in complex advisory projects in connection with special cross border transactions (e.g. transformations, acquisitions, etc.),

• Monitor, interpret, and assess global e-invoicing, CTC, and e-reporting mandate changes; evaluate operational, data, and system impacts.
• Translate regulatory and tax requirements into functional and technical design standards for SAP, Coupa, and middleware integrations.

• Customer Settlements & Cash Collection:
• Monitor incoming customer payments and ensure they comply with company policies and standards.
• Support the cash collection processes for the CE region.
• Billing & Reporting

• Prepare, validate and regularly update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Desktop Procedure
• Be involved in day-to-day operations in the following process areas (not exhaustive)
• Document receipt
• Invoice verification and processing
• Outgoing payment processing
• Reclaims & corrections

• Monitor accounts / payment runs.
• Workflow user support / administration, whilst handling internal and external queries.
• Handle invoice processing, other special accounts, pre-payments with bank guarantee, insolvency, default interest, signatures for payment authorization

• Recording the incoming/outgoing invoices and any inhouse documents
• Checking the Sales and related payments daily basis.
• Cash settlement with customer service department and sending cash to Bank weekly basis.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports (weekly Cash report, monthly Bank reconciliation, Fixed assets)

• Posting vendor invoices
• Posting bank statements, preparing bank transfers
• Managing petty cash
• Maintaining the analytical records of fixed assets and posting them to the general ledger
• Other general ledger and analytical accounting tasks

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, proforma, delivery advice and bank reconciliations
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with local accounting standards

• Review and verification of invoices for relevant documentation and approval before payment, formal and accounting verification of purchase invoices
• Independent and correct registration of purchase invoices in the books with the use of IT accounting systems

• AP Accountant (English +German/French/Greek language skills)

• Statutory Accountant/Statutory Reporting Specialist
• Statutory Controllership Manager
• Controller/Financial Analyst
• Senior / Lead Accountant - extra roles for Italian/Spanish/German speakers

• Daily management of auxiliary accounts receivable
• Posting and matching of cash receipts
• Monitoring and reconciling open items
• Managing disputes directly with customers
• Issuing manual invoices and credit notes
• Managing reminder processes and follow-up of unpaid items

• Execution of the preparatory monthly payroll processes for payroll accounting for our Austrian locations
• Support for a smooth end-to-end payroll process
• Execution of travel expense accounting (expense allowance, reimbursement of expenses)

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Global Financial template (GFT) and Procurement solutions of bp, focusing on processes across SAP (including Ariba).
• Act as an interface between business stakeholders (business data requirements) and technical teams.
