The Bosch Engineering Center of Budapest has been established in 2005. Today, it is a major research and development hub within the Bosch world focusing on the big mobility trends: automated, electrified and connected mobility. More than 2700 engineers are working together on complex automotive products within various fields of engineering from software to mechanical and hardware product development. Your ideas will be part of products improving the life across the globe.
The Automotive Electronics (AE) division develops new electronic control units (e.g. for combustion engines, comfort functions, airbags) and a wide range of sensors (e.g. for battery charge state, inertial, yaw-rate, pressure, NOx) in close cooperation with manufacturing. These products are engineered to a state of the art level both in technology and reliability and are to be found in cars of a very large group of manufacturers.
Your contribution to something big:
> Maintenance of TCU serial production projects
> Contact person from the development toward the plants and the customer groups
> Investigate change proposals by impact analysis, risk management, time plan and validation cost estimation
> Introduction of product and process changes via Engineering Change Requests, drive the approval process
> Handling of quality issues, create internal 8D reports including root cause analysis and lessons-learned
> Supplier management
> Application of BES-PE elements
> Representative of development in cost saving projects
What distinguishes you:
> BSc/MSc in electrical, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or comparable
> Proven experience in managing technical projects for automotive industry or similar
> Prior knowledge of mechanical and electronic principles
> Ability to solve technical challenges
> Flexibility and ability to adapt to new environments
> Good communication and presentation skills
> Willingness to take responsibility and to make decisions
> Target, process and quality orientation
> Fluent in English, German is a plus
