For our multinational retail Client we are looking for a

HR Director

Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Management and business partnering to the General Manager and the Leadership Team (LT)
  • Builds, develops and leads the local HR organization (ca 25 FTEs)
  • Consults, advises, coaches, and partners with the GM / LT on people and organizational needs
  • Ensures alignment with agreed group, functional and regional initiatives as well as business strategy, and ensures successful site execution
  • Drives organizational effectiveness including change management
  • Shapes, drives and executes the overall people strategy for site, in line with the business strategy, in alignment with global requirements

Key Deliverables

  • Supports business and people objectives
  • Develops and implements the people strategy / agenda, in alignment with business need
  • Successfully executes global and site HR processes and decisions and ensures meaningful communication
  • Effectively lives the HR collaboration model and ensures HR partnering model is in place
  • Builds a sustainable pipeline of High Potentials of talents for the Group
  • Develops the HR organization to be equipped to work in a professional manner. Supports the HR Transformation ongoing Journey

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required at minimum, MA / MBA preferred
  • Should possess a full range of functional HR skills – Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Performance Management, Compensation, Organizational Development, Talent Management, Succession Planning, and Change Management
  • Substantial experience working with diverse senior leaders
  • Experience as a line manager
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Fluency in written and spoken local country language and knowledge of local labour laws & regulations
