Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for all HR matters at the Hungary site
- Ensuring compliance with Hungarian labor and social security law
- Leading, motivating and developing 7 direct reports responsible for approx. 300 employees at the site
- Implementing global HR policies in collaboration with central HR management and managing external partners (payroll, employment law, etc.)
- Recruiting & onboarding new employees, employee development, performance & talent management
- Advising management and departments on HR matters, close collaboration and participation in cross-site HR projects
Requirements
- Completed education and ideally additional HR-related qualifications
- Several years of HR management experience (min. 3-5 years), ideally with a metal-processing automotive supplier; some leadership experience is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of Hungarian labor law
- Familiarity with current HR management concepts in the metals industry
- Experience in international/German companies an advantage
- Fluent German (written and spoken) and communicative English in addition to Hungarian; solid MS Office and HR software skills
- Personally, you stand out through a structured, independent, and strong communicative working style, a pronounced drive for excellence, a hands-on mentality combined with social competence and strong intercultural skills
