Upstream is one of the basic strategic segments of MOL Group where oil field services companies are essential contributors providing wide range of services as drilling, manufacturing, repair, and maintenance of equipment used in oil and gas production. Service companies are operating in several countries with revenue above HUF 17 bn, employs more than 500 colleagues, operating 3 drilling rigs and several well workover equipment.
Now, we would like to strengthen our Finance Team with a
SUBSIDIARY CFO (ROTARY; GEOINFORM)
Budapest location
If you want to take part in the operation of MOL Group as a CFO of the oil field service subsidiaries, then this is your position you have been waiting for.
Main tasks:
- Responsible for financial operation of companies. You will coordinate and control different financial functions provided by MOL Group finance units.
- As member of the management team you will have insight for the full operation and take part in the shaping and monitoring of strategic and development projects.
- Support the CEO, OFS and Upstream management in different topics from financial and strategic aspects.
- Actively manage the settlement process with MOL Upstream and 3rd party customers
- Supervise the reporting system and ensure their development in line with the business’ need.
- Lead the business planning process and monitor the implementation.
- Ensure to meet the legal requirements (both national and international) of financial reporting and you will also be responsible for the subsidiaries’ Annual Report(s).
- Actively keep contact with authorities, municipalities, auditors, financial institutions, and ministries.
- You will have your own decision-making right in certain topics until certain threshold.
We need you if you have the following:
- University degree in the field of economics,
- At least 8 years relevant business and financial experience,
- Management skills, Strategic mindset
- Willingness to travel – 2 days/week in Algyő and or Nagykanizsa is required
- Strong background in financial analysis and strategic mindset,
- Business acumen and customer focus,
- Fluent in English and Hungarian (written and spoken),
- ’B’ driving licence,
- Upstream industry knowledge is an advantage
