What success looks like in this role:

As a key member of the HR function, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery of the end-to-end employee life cycle process across Unisys Europe.
You will play a critical role in leading a team of HR professionals responsible for providing comprehensive HR services to employees across the organization. The HR Shared Service Center serves as the first point of contact for all HR-related inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution while upholding the company's HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:

  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of HR specialists to achieve service excellence and meet performance targets
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement development plans to enhance individual and team capabilities


HR Service Delivery:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the EMEA HRSS, ensuring the team delivers efficient and high-quality services to employees
  • Support the handling of complex and escalated HR issues, ensuring appropriate resolutions are provided in a professional and timely manner
  • Monitor and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely response and resolution of inquiries


Process Improvement:

  • Continuously review HR service processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency enhancement
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to implement process improvements and streamline workflows
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of service delivery and implement corrective actions as needed


Compliance and Policy Adherence:

  • Ensure the HR Shared Service Center team complies with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to HR policies and recommend corrective actions if needed
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends to ensure the HR Shared Service Center operates in a cutting-edge manner


Employee Relations:

  • Work closely with HR Business Partners across Europe to address employee relations matters and ensure appropriate solutions are provided
  • Manage sensitive employee cases with confidentiality and discretion

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced HR certifications are a plus
  • Min. 5 years proven experience in HR operations, shared service center, or relevant HR leadership roles
  • Strong leadership and people management experience with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team is a must
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle complex HR issues effectively
  • Proficiency in HR management systems and tools
  • Sound knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities effectively
