Responsibilities

Human Resources:

  • Act as a trusted, strategic HR partner to department leaders and employees, aligning HR initiatives with business goals
  • Support talent management initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
  • Lead employee relations efforts, provide coaching on HR-related matters and guidance to managers
  • Drive engagement and culture-building initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and procedures
  • Manage end-to-end HR administration, including employment contracts, amendments, and maintaining up-to-date employee files in compliance with GDPR.
  • Oversee monthly payroll preparation by collecting and validating time-attendance data, overtime, and leave records for the external payroll provider.
  • Coordinate employee lifecycle processes, from organizing medical check-ups and issuing work equipment to managing the offboarding flow.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding daily HR queries, benefits, and company policies.
  • Support on-site facility management and general affairs, ensuring a smooth and well-organized office and production environment.
  • Maintain and update HR databases and internal reporting to support data-driven decision-making for local leadership.


Environment, Health & Safety (EHS):

  • Implement and maintain safety programs and procedures aligned with legal and company standards
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
  • Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all levels
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation for EHS compliance
  • Coordinate EHS training and emergency response programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in a combined HR and/or EHS role, ideally in manufacturing
  • Solid knowledge of employment law, EHS regulations, and best practices
  • Strong communication (Hungarian and English), coaching, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • A problem-solving "can-do" attitude with the ability to balance operational tasks with strategic projects

Nice-to-have

  • Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Participation in corporate or authority audits (HR & Safety compliance)
  • Experience with Expat management
