Responsibilities
You will be involved in the following tasks
- Monitoring, scrutinizing alerts received from our various tools and ensuring that they are properly logged and worked on.
- Incident Ticket Management, entering alerts into ticketing tool and updating these tickets as necessary. Handle the ticket from the 1st level customer support team
- Escalation – contacting various support teams as necessary in order to ensure alerts &Incident ticket are properly managed.
- On-call, participate in on-call rotation and operate ticket effectively from the customer and O&M team in a global 7*24 environment
Requirements
- Ability to work in 24/7 shifts - nights & weekends& national holiday included (in rotation)
- Strong written English skills
- Strong learning ability and adaptability.
- Speaking good English
- Requires excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Advantages
- Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python)
- Knowledge of Cloud providers including Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure is preferred.
- skilled in Linux/Unix administration
- Understanding of networking standard protocols and components such as: HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, ICMP, the OSI Model, Subnetting and Load Balancing
- Experience with Cloud solutions
