Responsibilities

Huawei Hungary is growing! As a result, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our well established team in the heart of Budapest. If you are considering the challenge of becoming an integral part of a leading internationally focused organization, then we are looking for you, as we require a dedicated, reliable character to work with both internal and external forces.

Please note that this is an on-site position with 5 days in the office!
Office location: 116-118 Vaci Ut, Budapest, 1133.


In this role you will: 
  • Receive and register the account payable invoices
  • Be responsible for daily bank operation, including internal transfer
  • Check and process documents in payment system
  • Check and upload bank charges and bank statements
  • Assist accountant/business personnel for his/her daily duties
  • Maintain the relationship with other departments in order to receive or supply information
  • Document administration; keep all documents (including sales contracts) in order

Requirements

As our ideal candidate, you will have:
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance related field
  • Familiarity with cash operation within the company, bank payments, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and MS Office
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, interpersonal, communication, analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be prepared to work in a fast moving and multi cultural environment with fluency in English. Ability to work under pressure meeting strict deadlines

Nice-to-have

You may also have:
  • Previous experience as a cashier with good understanding of bank systems and payment process would consider as an advantage.
  • Experience of cash handling and cash handling procedures would also consider an advantage.
  • Proficient in other languages, like Hungarian, Bosnian, Croatian, Slovenian.
