• Ensuring the timely execution of the monthly closing procedures and the punctual completion of the individual steps within the month-end closing schedule.

• Assist the Internal Audit Manager in the development of scope for audits and selection and development of appropriate audit procedures.
• Plan and execute audit and internal control testing procedures independently, while being able to team with individuals across various departments and functions.

• Ensuring financial governance within the Group's finance community and across all finance IT systems based on regulatory and Group requirements
• Tracking and ensuring the timely closure of internal and external audit findings

• Handle accounting tasks for corporate loans, syndicated loans, money market products, capital market products, and counter business products
• Perform balance confirmations
• Ensure compliance with and update relevant regulations and internal processes

• Analyze and evaluate complex VAT issues across multiple jurisdictions
• Coordinate and monitor timely VAT filings throughout Europe

• Check and enter incoming invoices as well as match invoices with purchase orders (invoice verification)
• Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB
• Carry out postings relevant to the financial statements in general ledgers and sub-ledgers
