• Strategic planning, execution, and oversight of international Phase I clinical trials in accordance with GCP/ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements (EMA/FDA), and internal SOPs
• Preparation, review, and approval of all relevant study documents in collaboration with external service providers

• Lead the end-to-end management of clinical studies for Class III medical devices, from feasibility assessment through study close-out
• Develop, maintain, and track clinical project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies

• The DPL and IDT ensure that the project is advanced in a scientifically sound, efficient, and regulatory-compliant manner, with optimal use of resources
• The DPL should possess a broad, cross-functional skill set and act less as a subject matter expert (SME) in a single area

• Learn and perform immunology techniques (differentiation of monocytes to macrophages, flow cytometry, FACS sorting).
• Learn and perform molecular biological techniques (targeted metabolomic analysis, qPCR, western blot).

• Build and lead the Viral Vector Operations unit
• Drive process development and GMP manufacturing for viral vector platforms (e.g. Lentivurus, MVA)
• Ensure reliable, scalable, and high-quality GMP execution
• Oversee tech transfer, scale-up, and manufacturing readiness

• You conduct site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits — both on-site and remotely
• You create clear, high-quality visit reports and keep everything on track within given timelines
• You stay closely connected with your study sites, ensuring continuous support and follow-up
