Responsibilities

As a working student in our Finance Excellence team, you will play a vital role in strengthening and standardizing our global finance processes. You'll work closely with our team to analyze, document, and enhance key finance processes, leveraging technology and data-driven insights. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in finance digitalization and process improvement, combining your academic knowledge with real-world applications.

Support the Finance Process Excellence team in analyzing, documenting and improving Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report processes
Assist in preparing and analyzing finance insights from SAP, FIS, Celonis, and Qliksense to identify efficiency improvements
Conduct process mining and data-driven analyses, including basic dashboard preparations and interpretation
Contribute to the structured and consistent documentation of finance processes, standards, and controls
Support finance digitalization initiatives, focusing on process standardization, automation, and system enhancements
Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and analyses for Finance stakeholders, ensuring clear communication
Collaborate with Business Analysts, IT, DIA, and Regional teams to align on Finance Excellence initiatives
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in finance and process improvement
Provide support and contribute to special projects as required by the Finance Excellence team

Requirements

Currently enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business Informatics, Data Analytics, or a related field
Strong interest in finance, technology, and data-driven work, with a passion for process improvement
Knowledge of Excel or other analytics tools is an advantage, as is experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
Analytical mindset with a structured, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to work
Good communication skills in English, with German language skills being an asset
High motivation to learn and develop within a professional Finance environment, demonstrating a proactive attitude
Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit and a curiosity for finance and process improvement topics
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong organizational skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines
Enthusiasm for contributing to a dynamic and innovative work environment
