Responsibilities

As a Working Student (f/m/d) in IT at our site in Martinsried, you will contribute to reliable day‑to‑day IT operations and ensure smooth on-site support for our employees. In this role, you will assist with hardware preparation, inventory management, cable organization, and hands-on technical support, helping to maintain an efficient and well-structured IT environment.

Your Responsibility

Support the maintenance and organization of the IT hardware inventory (e.g., laptops, monitors, peripherals).
Assist in hardware setup, configuration, and basic troubleshooting.
Provide on-site support for employees, including technical guidance and handling smaller issues.
Take responsibility for structured cable management at desks, meeting rooms, and IT storage areas.
Prepare and deploy new IT equipment, including installation, labelling, and documentation.
Support the IT team in processing incoming hardware requests and following up on tickets.
Ensure order and structure in the IT storage and equipment room.
Collaborate closely with the IT team and other internal departments to ensure seamless daily operations.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Basic technical understanding of PCs, peripherals, and common IT infrastructure
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good knowledge of German and English (both written and spoken)
Interest in practical, hardware-focused IT tasks and on-site support
Reliable, organized, and proactive working approach
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Availability to work on-site 10–20 hours per week
