Total rewards intern

Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Total Rewards Intern to join our Human Resources team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic individual who is passionate about gaining hands-on experience in compensation and benefits management while supporting the development of equitable and motivating rewards systems in line with our EDI principles.

Tasks

  • Assist in Compensation Strategy Development: Support the creation and refinement of the company's compensation strategy, helping to research and analyze salary policies and incentive programs.
  • Participate in Compensation Analysis: Engage in market research to assist in understanding industry trends and help the team in crafting competitive compensation packages.
  • Supports reporting processes: participates in monthly closing processes, assist in the preparation of ad hoc and standard reports, analyses and presentations
  • Learn Compensation System Maintenance: Gain insights into the maintenance of the company’s compensation systems, including payroll processing and data management.
  • Communication Skills Development: Develop your communication skills by assisting in the advisement of management and employees on compensation-related inquiries and policies.
  • Engage in Performance Evaluations: Learn how to set objectives, evaluate employee performance, and understand the impact of performance on compensation.
  • Explore Performance-based Compensation: Discover how performance-based compensation programs are developed and managed.
  • Analyze Costs and Benefits: Contribute to improving analytics, reporting and dashboarding practices.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the eagerness to work as part of a diverse team.

Preference

  • You are proficient in analysis tools (Excel, Powe Apps) and have effective communication abilities to turn data into a story.
