Definition and establishment of product-specific test and quality strategy
Assessment of quality risks and definition of appropriate testing levels, methods, tools and processes
Establishment of pragmatic QA processes, guidelines and quality standards
Gaining buy-in from developers, architects, Product Owners and other stakeholders and driving adoption
Acting as quality advocate and subject matter expert
Performing functional and non-functional testing and creating test artefacts
Introduction and promotion of test automation
Definition of quality metrics and establishment of feedback loops for continuous improvement
Ownership of quality-related initiatives and driving them to completion
Communication of complex quality and technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Several years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
Experience defining or improving test strategies and QA processes
Proactive self-starter attitude
Strong strategic mindset with hands-on capability
Confidence in challenging opinions and ways of working
Resilience and comfort in giving and receiving constructive criticism
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Solid knowledge of functional testing
Good understanding of test automation and non-functional testing
Pragmatic mindset focused on delivering real improvements in software quality
Enjoyment of working in an agile, collaborative environment and taking ownership
