This exciting Site Manager position is important to manage on worksite a middle/large-scaled CAPEX projects in order to achieve high quality project results for our internal clients to help them reach the company’s strategic goals. As a key member of the Logistics or Refining Project Portfolio Management Team you will have the opportunity to work on large scale projects of the Hungarian oil industry.

The Site Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day management, coordination, and supervision of the on‑site construction activities. This role ensures that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards, which includes:
 

• Site management and coordination on Refining or Logistics projects

• On‑site supervision and inspection of contractors’ work.

• Ensuring and monitoring compliance with deadlines, budget, and quality requirements

• Participation in technical scope preparation and tendering procedure

• Preparing reports, decision making materials

• Keeping the on‑site construction schedule up to date on a daily basis

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with technical requirements

• Enforce all health, safety and environmental regulations and site rules

• Lead coordination meetings with engineers and stakeholders

• Acceptance of contractors’ completed work

• Preparing punch lists and tracking corrective actions

• Carry-out change management

• Bsc/Msc in engineering (preferably mechanical / chemical / electrical engineering or high-level technical background)

• Strong leadership and team‑management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse site teams

• 3+ years of experience in site managing industrial projects

• Advanced English proficiency for technical and business communication

• Advanced Hungarian is a must

• Able to work on multiple focus points simultaneously

• Outstanding ability in priorization among urgent tasks as well

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills ('can do' attitude)

• Flexibility, ability to adaptation to changes

• Collaborative approach in working with others

• MS Office and MS Project skills and experience

• B – Category driving licence
