Responsibilities

Delivery on complex data engineering projects across industries
Leading small delivery teams
Managing customer relationships alone or with a Project Manager
Mentoring more junior engineers
Evaluating quality of junior engineers' work
Contributing to hiring best-in-class data engineers

Requirements

Consultant mindset and passion for customer experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Solid software engineering foundations
Significant experience working on Unix/Linux
Strong understanding of Distributed Systems
Familiarity with best-in-class software engineering principles
Experience designing and implementing data-intensive applications
Strong SQL and NoSQL hands-on experience
Fluency in English
Willingness to travel up to 15% of time mainly in the EU

Nice-to-have

Exposure to Real-Time Data Processing Systems, Experience with Apache Spark and/or Big Data ecosystem, Technical mentoring and/or people management hands-on experience
