Responsibilities

Deliver complex data engineering projects individually or by leading small delivery teams
Work with customers to solve data engineering, ML, ML Ops, and cloud migration challenges
Set up new data architectures from scratch
Guide customers through adopting the latest technologies
Manage customer relationships directly or with a Project Manager
Mentor more junior engineers
Evaluate the quality of junior engineers' work
Contribute to hiring best-in-class data engineers

Requirements

Consultant mindset and passion for customer experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Solid software engineering foundations with significant Unix/Linux experience
Strong understanding of Distributed Systems
Familiarity with best-in-class software engineering principles
Experience designing and implementing data-intensive applications
Strong SQL and NoSQL hands-on experience
Exposure to Real-Time Data Processing Systems, Apache Spark, and/or Big Data ecosystem is an advantage
Mentoring skills and predisposition to knowledge-sharing
Technical mentoring and/or people management experience is a plus
Problem-solving skills and ownership
Ability to act as a technical lead and identify organizational gaps
Fluency in English
Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time (mainly in the EU)

Gross salary range: 1,700,000 - 2,300,000 HUF/month for Senior role depending on assessed seniority
