About Digital Factory
At Digital Factory, we pair the agility of a startup with the scale of a global company. As part of MOL Group’s 2030 Enter Tomorrow strategy, we’re transforming Consumer Services into a digital‑first, data‑driven mobility and retail business.
We’ve built a centralized Data Lake, deployed advanced analytics (across forecasting, pricing, category management, workforce optimization), and launched MOL MOVE – our digital loyalty platform used by millions across 9 countries.
Now, we’re expanding our data ecosystem even further, strengthening our engineering capabilities, and looking for a Senior Data Architect to help us build data products that scale across the region.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Architect who will shape the foundations of our data products and platforms. You’ll contribute across the entire data lifecycle – from conceptual architecture to hands‑on model design – ensuring our Data Squads deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.
This role combines architecture, technical leadership, and coaching: you’ll design data structures, guide transformation logic, review code, ensure data quality, and support our transition to modern cloud‑based technologies like Synapse, Databricks, and Delta Lake.
If you’re passionate about data architecture, cloud platforms, and helping teams deliver robust analytics solutions, this role is for you.

Build and optimize high‑performance data models for analytics
Partner with business and engineering teams to shape data solutions end‑to‑end
Lead data integration, transformation, and migration efforts
Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and security across systems
Design efficient data pipelines and workflows for large datasets
Continuously improve our cloud data tech stack (Synapse, Databricks, ADLS, ADF)
Coach and guide Data Engineers and BI Developers on best practices
Support adoption of Databricks for advanced analytics and processing
Troubleshoot complex data issues and performance bottlenecks
Define code‑quality frameworks and architecture KPIs

Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
Ability to mentor developers and collaborate across functions and teams
