Állás leírása
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines in cloud and hybrid environments
- Contribute to the architecture of enterprise data platforms with a system-oriented mindset
- Work with large-scale datasets using SQL, Spark, and cloud-native tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
- Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and reliability
- Support and mentor junior and mid-level data engineers
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and best practice definitions
- Implement and maintain CI/CD processes for data workflows
- Work with streaming and batch processing solutions where applicable
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Strong system-level thinking and experience designing complex data solutions
- Proven experience in enterprise environments
- Solid background in data management and data engineering practices
- Strong SQL skills (Oracle preferred)
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Spark
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure is a strong advantage)
- Practical experience with Databricks
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Ability to mentor and support other engineers
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Nice-to-have
- Experience with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming)
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks/tools
- Experience in hybrid (cloud + on-premise) data architectures
- Tech lead experience or readiness to step into such a role
