Responsibilities
- Contribution to market growth and building strategic partnerships in the life sciences industry
- Identification and pursuit of new business opportunities
- Development and nurturing of relationships with key decision-makers across pharmaceutical, biotech, and research organizations
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to leverage portfolio of products and services
- Development and implementation of comprehensive business development strategies
- Analysis of market trends and positioning of solutions to meet customer needs
- Management of full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation
- Maintenance of detailed records in CRM system
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of B2B sales experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, or related industries
- Preferred fields of study in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Business, or related field
- Professional business or sales training certifications
- Demonstrated achievement of sales targets and development of new business opportunities
- Strong understanding of CDMO/CRO services and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to engage executive leadership
- Experience in complex deal structuring and strategic account management
- Proficiency with CRM systems (especially Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
- Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities
- Ability to travel up to 50% for customer meetings and industry events
- Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating across functions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Adaptability in a responsive, evolving environment

- Salary range estimated at $116,300.00–$191,975.00 based in Massachusetts
