YOUR TASKS

As Restaurant Hostess, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Welcoming the guests to the restaurant
Helping with the wardrobe
Seating the guests according to the plan
Presentation of the menus
Handling calls and queries
Managing table reservations and walk-ins
Complying with hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of the HACCP guidelines

YOUR PROFILE

As Restaurant Hostess, we expect from you:

Warm welcoming personality with strong communication skills, both verbal and written - guests will approach you with both complaints and positive feedback, so you will always be open and approachable
Good organisational skills with the ability to handle reservations
Good understanding of luxury service and willingness to go the extra mile
Expressiveness, open-mindedness and team spirit
Good IT skills, knowledge of the Infrasys cash register system and the SevenRooms booking system would be advantageous
Ability to work under pressure and flexibility - your position includes weekend and holiday shifts
Excellent knowledge of German and English. Further foreign language skills are an advantage
Successful applicants must have the right to work in Switzerland
