Responsibilities
- Organization and leadership of Program Increment (PI) Planning
- Organization and leadership of Scrum of Scrums
- Organization and leadership of Inspect & Adapt (I&A) workshops
- Organization and leadership of System Demos
- Organization and leadership of ART sync meetings
- Coaching and support of Scrum Masters (Team Coaches)
- Fostering a Lean-Agile mindset
- Support of Agile teams
- Ensuring alignment with SAFe principles
- Management of risks and dependencies
- Identification, tracking, and resolution of impediments impacting ART execution
- Ensuring cross-team collaboration and synchronization
- Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights and retrospectives
- Support of Lean Portfolio Management
- Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment between ART execution and business objectives
- Monitoring and improvement of flow efficiency, predictability, and transparency across the Agile Release Train
- Communication with stakeholders as liaison between Agile teams, business owners, product management, and leadership
- Promotion of a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and Lean thinking within the ART
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) Certification or equivalent Agile certification such as SAFe SPC, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Professional
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Agile program management
- At least 2 years of experience as an RTE or similar leadership role in a SAFe environment
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean
- Experience working in large-scale IT projects, preferably within the aviation or transportation industry
- Excellent facilitation skills
- Excellent coaching skills
- Excellent conflict-resolution skills
- Proven ability to lead distributed teams
- Proven ability to manage complex dependencies
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong decision-making skills
