Regional Purchasing Manager
What to expect
Joining our Global Purchasing function as a Regional Purchasing Manager, you’ll be responsible for a variety of strategy and sourcing, cost management, supplier relationship management, and the management of core commercial / contractual elements and costs.
You’ll be providing input into data and documents that will define our commodity and supplier strategies, before ensuring costs are not prohibitive and then delivering a model that is both sustainable and profitable from a supplier relations perspective. You’ll also be analysing out in-depth processes when it comes to labour, manufacturing, tooling, and other aspects of production, before assessing commercial contract validation and executing associated improvement activities.
What you'll need
You’ll be a proven supply chain expert, using a mixture of experience and relevant degree-level education to deliver within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll be results driven, and used to analysing a huge variety of processes in order to recommend and execute sustainable improvements.
You’ll be fully capable of managing complex external supplier relationships, especially when it comes to commodities, identifying weak areas and doing what it takes to ensure a successful relationship from the first instant. Driving ideas and inputs will be first nature, and you’ll thrive on influencing key stakeholders and ensuring cross-functional alignment.
