Responsibilities

Supplier Selection & Management
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability criteria.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure long-term collaboration and performance.
- Monitor performance of suppliers, and visualize potential risks priorly to.
- To be the single contact of suppliers when non-conformity happens, and facilitate corrective/preventative actions into suppliers
Contract Negotiation & Management
- Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions to secure favorable agreements.
- Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts in collaboration with legal and finance teams.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- Monitor supplier adherence to ethical standards, sustainability goals, and governance frameworks
Legal & Financial Coordination
- Collaborate with legal and finance departments to assess contract risks and ensure budget alignment.
- Analyze financial implications of procurement decisions and support cost-saving initiatives.
Procurement Strategy
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Control Intra-company transaction, judge a reasonable trade conditions according to the applicable law in each jurisdiction

Requirements

- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
- Strong knowledge of supplier evaluation and contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with governance frameworks and compliance standards.
- Experience working with legal and finance teams on procurement matters.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Risk-oriented mind

Shin-Etsu Silicones Europe B.V. is the European headquarters for the production and sales of silicones. We are part of the Japanese multinational Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd., the world's largest supplier of silicone semiconductors and PVC and one of the largest producers of silicones. In 1953, Shin-Etsu Chemical was the first company to market silicone in Japan.
