Procurement Service Desk Expert

 

colleague to join our dynamic Procurement Excellence Team!

 

As Procurement Service Desk Expert you will be responsible for providing continuous support and services to a wide range of internal stakeholders and suppliers to enable continuous procurement operation and improvement of procurement organizational and operational efficiency. 

 

IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL:

Handle incoming tickets and give timely and relevant customer feedback and status update.

Resolve issues and escalate to the relevant resolver groups. Responsible for providing support to procurement and business stakeholders in governance related issue resolution and for channeling issues to Procurement teams in case 2nd level support is required.

Check for accuracy of the details logged, and make sure that all tickets are closed accurately, whilst adhering to processes at all times.

Perform a trend analysis on repeat tickets and provide ideas, improvement opportunities to eliminate the repeated items.

Support projects and sub-projects focusing on business processes, work- and methodology instruction development, create training materials to continuously improve performance.

Manage Service Level Agreements, contribute to procurement budgeting and forecasting process in cooperation with Controlling units.

Maintain procurement sites, access rights and group wide procurement registers.

YOU ARE BEST EQUIPPED FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

  • University or College degree in the field of Economics/Engineering/Law
  • 2+ years of Service Support experience
  • Openness and good understanding of Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Category management and Sourcing processes and systems
  • Customer focused and result-oriented attitude and strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in MS Office, SAP MM/SRM and integrated E2E procurement IT solutions
  • Flexibility for regional travelling
