Process Engineer

SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC

is looking for a new colleague located in Zalaegerszeg for the position of: Process Engineer

Expert specialized in several areas of knowledge regarding production / manufacturing processes in an entity (eg. process design, ergonomics, capacity, simulation tools, investment, cost analysis, performance etc.). Strongly contributing to / leading continuous improvement actions.

• Prepare technical documentation for production lines in close cooperation with engineers
• Adapt processes and production workstations for existing products with the aim of improving industrial performance
• Contribute to specifications and quotations for new production line architectures and industrial scenarios, ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality, Lead Time and productivity requirements
• Implement and apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to drive continuous improvement
• Participate in or organize project follow‑up meetings, and ensure proper documentation
• Calculate capacity versus workload balance using dedicated tools for both internal and external production lines
• Optimize lead times and ensure sufficient production capacity
• Analyze feasibility and profitability of investment proposals aligned with business and industrial needs
• Qualify equipment, processes and industrial means, both in the plant and at supplier locations
• Support and pilot production ramp‑up activities for new or transferred products
• Provide complementary expertise in close cooperation with Maintenance Engineering

• Relevant engineering degree
• 1–3 years of experience in engineering or a related field
• Lean methodology knowledge
• Fluent written and spoken English and Hungarian
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Proficient in MS Office
