Responsibilities
Principal Talent Sourcers are key partners and SMEs. They leverage data to craft bespoke sourcing strategies, engaging passive talent for complex roles. As brand ambassadors, they build authentic connections, ensuring candidates are qualified and excited by the opportunity.
Key Accountabilities:
- Partner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to deliver excellent client and candidate experiences.
- Lead recruitment discussions as a thought leader, expertly developing strategies that deliver top talent.
- Utilize talent intelligence to proactively influence stakeholders and hiring outcomes.
- Confidently advise stakeholders, leveraging expertise to propose solutions for complex or niche hiring challenges.
- Deliver high-quality, engaged, and diverse shortlists; act as a Trusted Advisor by making clear recommendations and speculatively introducing high-potential candidates.
- Share candidate feedback and insights to advocate for solutions and adapt the recruitment strategy.
- Support, coach, and mentor junior colleagues, leading problem-solving discussions.
- Demonstrate innovative, critical thinking and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Review and post compelling job adverts that amplify the client brand.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using the right channels, adopting a 'search' mentality for hard-to-fill and niche roles.
- Utilize data to measure success, review, refine, innovate, and communicate the value of sourcing.
- Engage with the target audience professionally and authentically across all channels, regularly headhunting niche talent.
- Conduct high-quality, consultative conversations to qualify candidates, gathering deep insights into skills and motivations.
- Present candidates compellingly, championing diverse talent pools and bias-free selection processes.
- Support candidates through the process and talent pool them to build lasting relationships for future needs.
- Track all progress, data, and performance on applicable systems
- Champion the Candidate Experience through honest career discussions that excite candidates about the client's brand.
- Build lasting candidate relationships that turn them into client advocates, regardless of the hiring outcome.
Requirements
- Expert/ principal level experience in talent sourcing strategy and execution
- Proven ability to passively source niche and hard-to-fill specialist talent
- Strong experience using talent intelligence and data to influence hiring strategy
- Exceptional stakeholder management and advisory skills
- Trusted Advisor capability with a focus on delivering diverse and high-quality shortlists
- Ability to lead recruitment discussions and act as a subject matter expert (SME)
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and guiding junior team members
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering an outstanding candidate experience
- High-level consultative communication and relationship-building skills
- Innovative, critical thinking mindset for market analysis and problem-solving
Nice-to-have
- Familiarity with Investment Banking or Financial Services
