Responsibilities

Huawei Hungary is growing! As a result, we're looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our well-established HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the payroll function in a multicultural environment.

Please note that this is an on-site position with 5 days in the office!
Our office location: 116-118. Váci út, Budapest, 1133.


In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Payroll Processing: Accurately calculating salaries, wages, overtime, and bonuses on a regular cycle (e.g., weekly, monthly). Assisting in the Compensation and Benefit field.
  • Data Management: Maintaining accurate employee information, updating deductions, and managing payroll databases. Managing fringe benefits-related tasks and projects.
  • Compliance: Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations and employment laws.
  • Inquiry Resolution: Handling employee queries regarding paychecks, taxes, or benefits. Giving advice to the Managers in connection with employment and other labor law connected issues.
  • Auditing and Reporting: Preparing payroll reports for management and supporting internal/external audits.

Requirements

As our ideal candidate, You will have:
  • At least Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or Business Management or equivalent field.
  • Minimum 3 years' demonstrated experience in Payroll (tax and audits) or Compensation & Benefits.
  • Ability to apply Hungarian Labor Code and work with employment related taxes.
  • Understanding and adherence to the GDPR guidelines.
  • Experience in HR related projects.
  • Ability to work under time pressure, setting priorities, managing workload and deadlines in a changing environment.
  • Native Hungarian and strong English knowledge both written and verbal.
  • Problem solving approach, good cooperation with the current HR team.
  • Ability to work accurately and consistently with attention to detail.
