Responsibilities

Provide onsite IT support

Provide onsite IT support to users in the area of both hardware and software with the aim of offering a fast and customer friendly service.

Accept and register tickets

Accept and register tickets in the Helpdesk System with the aim of following them up.

Order and prepare for use computers

Order and prepare for use computers and other devices in line with overall standards with the aim of ensuring that new hardware is operational as soon as possible.

Implement standard modifications to the central system in accordance with set procedures

Implement standard modifications to the central system in accordance with set procedures with the aim of being able to take action quickly and efficiently.

Install updates and/or implement modifications in the locally managed systems

Install updates and/or implement modifications in the locally managed systems and applications with the aim of ensuring that the specific local business requirements are met.

Manage and maintain workplaces

Manage and maintain workplaces (including cabling, telephony, etc.) with the aim of providing a tidy and correctly organized workplace for employees.

Follow up on tickets and inform users

Follow up on tickets and inform users with regard to the status of their IT problem with the aim of keeping the internal user up-to-date and satisfied.

Offer support in application and IT infrastructural projects

Offer support in application and IT infrastructural projects with the aim of guaranteeing an efficient implementation.

Maintain professional knowledge

Maintain professional knowledge and technical skills with the aim of maximizing his/her professional knowledge and applying it to best advantage within the organization.

Requirements

Recording and handling escalated tickets and providing support to internal customers for complex IT issues, aiming to ensure continuity of daily operations and systems..
Searching for and documenting standard solutions for recurring IT issues with the aim of providing clear procedures that can be consistently used by the IT Service Desk Agents.
Addressing recurring IT issues at their source with the goal of being proactive rather than reactive.
Systematically performing installations, changes, upgrades, and expansions at the local Datacenter and provided services with the aim of ensuring continuity and capacity.
Monitoring the local Datacenter with the aim of proactively taking action to prevent potential issues.
Ensuring backups of the local Datacenter with the goal of securing data in case of potential crashes.
Keeping internal IT documentation up to date to provide backup documentation for colleagues within the team.
