Feladatok

Planning, implementation, development and testing of HW/SW components for the company backbone and data center networks
Preparation of technical feasibility studies, design proposals and execution of POCs for the networks
Communication with 3rd parties/vendors during tendering process or during definition of requirements on network design
Integration of new technologies, definition of upgrade strategies and lifecycle plans for the networks
Preparation of vendor specific configuration templates
Definition of network monitoring metrics and KPIs and tracking the performance of systems
Development of network automation and network monitoring/telemetry products using tools, methodologies and technologies such as git, CI/CD, pipeline, network abstraction, Network as Code
Participation in solving and eliminating of ops issues and performing 2nd level support
Preparation of technical documentation through the lifecycle of networks

Elvárások

Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Systems or related field
More than five years’ experience in area of network platforms design and testing
Competence in carrier grade backbone and datacenter network engineering
Operational experience in networks’ troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Fluent English language skills in verbal and written communication
Excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills
Resourcefulness and initiative
Ability to multitask in a busy and demanding environment
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive information
Excellent problem solving ability
Advanced layer 2 and 3 network skills including IPv6, BGP, ISIS/OSPF, QoS, multicast, V/VXLAN, EVPN, Routing and Switching, MPLS
Extensive knowledge of carrier grade and data center network hardware, routing, switching, network security and telecommunication circuits from major vendors such as Juniper, Cisco or Huawei
Experience on Linux networking, container networking and cloud networking
Knowledge on model driven network programmability
Linux administration and container fundamentals
Cloud fundamentals such as openstack and SDN
Programming skills including data formats like JSON and YAML
Programming skills in Python and APIs such as REST and NETCONF
Source control knowledge such as git and GitLab
Configuration management knowledge such as Ansible
CCNP, CCIE or equivalent certification preferred
MS Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio, Project
