We are looking for a M&A Project Manager who will be responsible for the management of medium-value and relatively non-complex inorganic projects or project components in Downstream and the provision of risk management within the agreed time and cost budgets while actively supporting the senior project manager in complex, high-value projects, working E2E collaboratively with Group M&A team.

  • Collecting and analyzing project-related data in line with MOL strategy; generating inorganic Downstream New and Sustainable Businesses project ideas; monitoring industry and business environment changes and systematizing relevant information

  • Coordinating or preparing proposals and presentations required for decision-making and approvals

  • Compiling detailed project plans, including engaging consultants, defining methodology, and describing projects; coordinating related operational activities and proposing harmonization measures

  • Guiding and monitoring project implementation; proposing resource allocation (human and financial); controlling realization across technical, financial, business, legal, and timeline risks; developing solutions for risks and unexpected issues within approved projects

  • Maintaining effective cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and authorities to achieve project goals

  • Ensuring inorganic projects’ compliance with regulatory and internal requirements (e.g., preparing documentation, signing contracts, conducting technical acceptance procedures, obtaining authority approvals) and supporting full project traceability

  • Preparing market, company, and industry assessments

  • Taking responsibility for achieving project goals and conducting result evaluations and post-evaluations

  • Executing special tasks assigned by relevant business and functional heads; Head of Business Opportunity Analyses, Head of ENT management, Head of Group Biomethane Value Chain, Head of Circular Chemicals, Head of Group Sustainable Business Solutions

  • University degree (Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA, PMP) are considered an advantage)

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Advanced English knowledge is required, any other CEE language is an advantage

  • Project management skills and comprehensive business management knowledge

  • Enterprise evaluation knowledge including Financial and legal knowledge

  • Advanced Excel / financial modelling experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Oil&Gas industry and MOL Group

  • User-level MS office knowledge

  • Willingness to travel
