Lufthansa Technik is the leading provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification services for civil aircraft, from commercial to VIP and special mission aircraft. Holding international licenses for maintenance, design and production, LHT provides tailored maintenance programs, modification, completion and conversion as well as innovative cabin products, material pooling or engine services. LHT also supplies with digital fleet support.

Our LHT People International Department is growing and we are looking for the next passionate and dedicated team member to support us. Our new colleague will be located in Lufthansa Technik Budapest and will be supporting our LHT Branch in Budapest alongside working with the other team members, located in the EMEA region.

Junior HR Business Partner – Part time (20 hours weekly)

Task:

  • Be the first point of contact for management, employees of Lufthansa Technik in Budapest (appr. 60 employees, mainly in Sales and Engineering functions)  and regional HR counterparts of the Lufthansa Technik Group and its subsidiaries within EMEA
  • Steer and coordinate local and regional HR topics in the areas of Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding, Compensation and Benefits, people development, Training, Employee Engagement, Organizational Transformation, Change Management, etc.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on the overall HR strategy to transform them into ground-level execution plans by providing and adapting regional structures, tool boxes and processes on regional or individual country needs and requirements
  • Work in close cooperation with Head Office and related competence centers, as well as the Lufthansa Group Business Services (LGBS) organization and other providers, to ensure that processes are implemented consistently, efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Align and collaborate with Lufthansa Group on collective HR projects as required
  • Design and track KPIs to measure the efficiency of processes and activities, including services provided by internal and external service providers
  • Support in maintaining general HR compliance
  • Learn from and maintain best exchange practice with HR contacts in the region, and ensure that relevant learning points are communicated and shared with Head Office

Expectation:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Psychology or Social Studies, Labour Law or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience within operational HR
  • Good knowledge of Hungarian labour and social security law, regional knowledge is an advantage
  • Fluent in business English and Hungarian, both written and spoken
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office functions and prior experience with SAP preferred 
  • Experience in HR transformation and change management projects desirable
  • Able to work independently
  • Likes working with multinational teams
  • Effective communication skills, and experienced in internal customer relationship management
  • Willing to travel within Europe  / EMEA
  • Willing to work part time (20 hours weekly)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience working internationally or with international business units advantageous
