Job Description
The role in a nutshell is …
As an IT Field Service Specialist, you will enjoy a partly independent role that emphasizes self-driven work while ensuring strict adherence to core IT rules, expectations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will be part of a multinational company’s IT environment, with some exposure towards network and server side.
Furthermore, an exciting IT transformation project is currently underway, and we are in need of a versatile IT all-rounder to contribute to this dynamic initiative.
Key Responsibilities
You will handle a diverse array of IT tasks and contribute to team effort in the following areas:
Platform Management:
- set up Windows operating system desktops, ensuring smooth installation and configuration
- integrate systems into the Active Directory (AD) domain and manage user accounts within the domain
- perform regular hardware checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of device
- implement OS level patching, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches
Support Services:
- provide generic first line user support for office and laboratory users
- managing printers (network connected ones, some locally connected, label printers as well)
- handle local area related network tasks, such as cabling
- cooperating with core IT teams in case of server side, network side configuration needs
Customer Interaction:
- act as the primary IT support contact for local business colleagues, addressing their technical issues promptly and efficiently
- extend support to other Hungarian and regional laboratories, ensuring seamless IT operations across multiple locations
Project Involvement:
- participate actively in the ongoing IT transformation project, contributing to diverse and challenging initiatives aimed at enhancing the company’s IT infrastructure and capabilities
Qualifications
We are seeking a proactive and skilled specialist to join our innovative team. This role is suited for you if you are a new graduate or a professional with substantial experience but have no university degree. We encourage you to apply, if you eager to embark on a career in IT!
