Join our Downstream team and play a key role in driving operational excellence and digital transformation across multiple regions!

 

 

Purpose of the Position

As a Process Owner, you will be responsible for executing and continuously optimizing the Card processes, improving KPIs for higher quality and customer satisfaction. You will act as a gatekeeper for IS quality assurance in IT stage gate processes and agile sprints, ensuring smooth operational handover and flawless operation of developed features and services.

 

You will also design and maintain a knowledge management framework, creating content and delivering training for Group Card teams and peer organizations across all MOL countries.

 

Coordinate and executes operational tests.

Process Ownership & Standardization

 

  • Own and manage fuel card-related processes across 3 regions and 9–12 MOL countries, ensuring standardization and alignment with group-level operational standards.

  • Drive strategic alignment of fuel card processes with MOL Group’s business objectives and digital transformation goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and deploy quality processes across all relevant geographies.

  • Document and maintain group-level process regulations and support country-specific updates.

 

Process Improvement & Automation

 

  • Design, monitor, and continuously improve processes by setting performance targets, tracking KPIs, and communicating results through dashboards.

  • Identify and resolve process distortions, leading initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Drive automation efforts with IT teams to reduce manual tasks and improve process quality.

  • Govern automation strategy for the card domain, ensuring alignment with IT architecture and scalability.

 

IT Collaboration, Operation & Project Support

 

  • Act as process owner for IS quality assurance and gatekeeper in IT stage gate processes and agile sprints, ensuring smooth operational handover and flawless BAU operation of developed features and services.

  • Represent the Card Operation domain in group-level governance forums and contribute to IT and business development priorities.

  • Execute or coordinate User Acceptance Tests across 3 regions/9–12 countries.

  • Participate in incident management rotation within the Operational Excellence team to minimize business impact.

  • Act as business owner for assigned SIRs and development projects, ensuring smooth execution and handover.

 

Training, Knowledge Sharing & Compliance

 

  • Develop and deliver training and knowledge-sharing materials related to owned processes.

  • Promote knowledge management and collaboration within and beyond the Card team.

  • Mentor operational experts and associates, fostering continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Ensure compliance with legal and company regulations, including Code of Ethics, Conflict of Interest rules, HSE standards, and Data Protection policies.

Education: University degree in a relevant field.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in process management or operational excellence roles.

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, collaboration, and communication.

Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken) and Hungarian.

IT Knowledge: MS Office, SAP, and familiarity with process automation tools.
