We are a front office type finance team that operates with complex financial responsibilities. We are looking after the economics of millions of dollars of projects and the complete financial compliance of the Hungarian E&P (Exploration and Production) portfolio. Sounds exciting? Hungarian E&P Finance Controller
Job description:
Supporting Exploration and Production business and providing financial and strategic support by:
- Taking part and supporting planning, forecasting and reporting processes for dedicated area
- Understanding business needs and preparing meaningful analysis with a view of optimizing profitability
- Setting standards for a dedicated area within Exploration and Production Finance and supervising the application of these policies
- Monitoring the regularity, correctness, and analysis of reports, drawing conclusions and making recommendations to the business
- Applying and coordinating asset impairment process
- Cooperating with multiple stakeholders including other controllers, Project Managers, Group Accounting, Business Evaluation Team, Central Controlling and Business experts
Requirements:
- College or university degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Controlling, Commerce, Business Administration and Management
- 2-3 years working experience in finance
- Intermediate in English, confident and clear verbal and written communication skillset
- Adaptability to work either in team or independently, to efficiently search for missing information with a proactive attitude, and occasionally dealing with partial information
- Service- and process-oriented mindset, having high standards for getting to know processes in full details
- Ability to challenge the status quo and drive enhancements wherever possible
- Consequent, consistent way of thinking, systems approach
