Responsibilities
To support our expanding operations in Eastern Europe, we are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to manage our daily HR functions. As the founding member of our HR department in this startup environment, you will play a key role in our expansion, offering you a direct and accelerated career opportunity.
Your Role
As HR Generalist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a reliable and flexible workforce to support short- and mid-term quality projects across mainly Hungary and occasionally in the Eastern Europe the region.
You will work closely with operations, project managers, and local partners, ensuring that the right people are in the right place at the right time — often under tight deadlines.

Your Role
As HR Generalist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a reliable and flexible workforce to support short- and mid-term quality projects across mainly Hungary and occasionally in the Eastern Europe the region.
You will work closely with operations, project managers, and local partners, ensuring that the right people are in the right place at the right time — often under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- End-to-end recruitment of blue-collar inspectors and white-collar roles (team leaders, coordinators, engineers)
- Collaborate with sub-suppliers, contractors in connection with workforce management
- Fast recruitment for short-term projects (1–6 months)
- Building and maintaining an active candidate pool across Estern Europe.
- Cooperation with agencies, local partners, and subcontractors
Onboarding & Administration
- Coordination of onboarding processes and on-the-job trainings
- Supporting local employment models (own employees, contractors, temporary staff)
- Close cooperation with payroll, HR administration, and local entities
Employee Motivation & Retention
- Supporting motivation, engagement, and retention of task force teams
- Handling daily HR topics for field teams (availability, rotation, feedback)
- Supporting team leaders in people-related matters
Operational HR Support
- Daily cooperation with operations and project management
- Rapid response to urgent staffing needs and last-minute changes
- Supporting conflict resolution and escalation when needed
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Improving recruitment speed and quality
- Developing simple HR processes and standards for multi-country operations
- Supporting employer branding and referral programs
Contractual & Employment Matters
- Preparation of documentation for new hires
- Drafting employment contracts
- Managing contract amendments (salary changes, extensions, role changes)
- Communicating with new employees: collecting required information and answering HR-related questions
General HR Administration
- Setting up and maintaining employees in internal HR systems
- Processing and approving travel expenses
- Acting as first point of contact for employee questions and issues
- Managing absences (vacation, sick leave)
- Creating and maintaining personnel files in line with regulations
Payroll & Tax Office Coordination
- Preparatory payroll activities
- Reviewing payroll data and validating accuracy provided by the tax office / payroll provider
- Ongoing communication with external payroll and tax partners

Languages
Mobility
- Experience in HR administration and blue and white-collar recruitment, ideally in an international environment
- Solid understanding of Hungarian labor law (experience with payroll providers is a plus)
- Experience working with external HR agencies and tax offices
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple processes in parallel
- Experience in industrial, automotive, manufacturing, or service environments is a strong advantage

Languages
- English – fluent (mandatory)
- German is an advantage
