Responsibilities

  • Drive AI and Platform Adoption: You drive the adoption of AI, Micro­soft 365, Copilot, Power Platform and GenAI tools across MB Energy so that employees under­stand, trust, and effectively use these technologies.
  • Own AI Products and Governance: You define and own the pro­duct vision and roadmap for MB Chat, Copilot Studio and GenBI, and you run AI pro­cesses inclu­ding use case intake, validation, risk checks and alignment with Legal, Compliance and Data Gover­nance.
  • Enable Learning and Communities: You provide trai­ning formats, office hours and build commu­nities of prac­tice to develop AI and analytics capabi­lities and foster respon­sible AI usage across the organization.
  • Deliver Analytics for Enabling Functions: You support HR and Finance with data inte­gration, reporting, automation and analytics solutions.
  • Automate Processes and Ensure Compliance: You drive opera­tional excel­lence by automating manual processes and ensuring compliant hand­ling of sensitive data such as PII, payroll and organizational data.
  • Lead and Develop the Team: You lead a cross-functional team of AI engi­neers, data and specia­lists, and adoption managers, fostering a culture of conti­nuous improve­ment, inno­vation, and responsible adoption of emerging techno­logies.

Requirements

  • Professional Background: You bring several years of experience in AI, analytics, digital transformation or data / automation leadership – example as Head of Data/AI, Analy­tics Lead or as a senior pro­ject lead in data-driven trans­formations.
  • Enabling Functions Expertise: You have expe­rience in finance analytics, people analy­tics or financial reporting automation, and are familiar with the needs of HR and Finance in a trans­forming, complex corporate environment.
  • Technical Environment: You have a solid under­standing of Microsoft techno­logies, espe­cially Power Platform, Copilot, Power BI and the broader M365 ecosystem, and you know how to use them to build scalable solutions.
  • Stakeholder and Governance Skills: You are skilled in stake­holder management and cross-functional align­ment and under­stand data models, repor­ting archi­tecture, and gover­nance require­ments for sensitive data.
  • Leadership Experience: You have proven experience in leading teams or strong func­tional / project leadership, guiding cross-functional teams and exter­nal partners, and helping your team stay focused across many use cases.
  • Language: You are fluent in both German and English.

Head of AI Competence Center & Analytics Enabling Functions (m/f/d)

Here's what you can look forward to:

In this role, you are an important interface between our enabling functions (especially HR and Finance), our AI & Analy­tics community, and the wider MB Energy organi­zation. You lead our AI Compe­tence Center and the analy­tics enablement for enabling functions, repor­ting to senior leader­ship within the digital / data domain. You ensure that HR and Finance benefit from scalable AI, clean data foundations, auto­mation, and clear gover­nance, while supporting the AI capabi­lities of our commercial AI & Analytics teams. In this role, you connect strategy and execu­tion by turning AI, automation, and analy­tics into tangible, trusted tools in people's daily work. You will work closely with trans­formation programs (e.g. Finance Trans­formation and People Analytics) and help shape data models, reporting standards, and cross-func­tional analytics require­ments.
