Group Tax Team Lead
focusing on International Taxation
Location: MOL Campus, Budapest
Tasks
Lead an engaged, collaborative and high-performing Tax team of 3 where people can develop themselves to their full potential.
Support MOL Group’s business development activities (acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, other projects, etc.) to ensure group level tax efficiency.
Identify, generate, gather and propose tax saving, process development ideas across MOL Group. Participate in the implementation of them.
Participate in the monitoring and analysis of major tax legislation changes in MOL Group’s jurisdictions and identification of tax planning opportunities stemming from them.
Identify significant tax risks within MOL Group and propose solutions to eliminate/mitigate them. To participate in the implementation of those solutions.
Support performing international tax transparency reporting obligations, monitoring and impact analyses of international tax development.
Develop and implement systems and processes to support Pillar 2 compliance.
Requirements
University/college degree in Finance and Accounting or Economics
Minimum of 8–10 years of international tax experience in a multinational corporation or Big Four firm.
CPA, CA, CTA, or equivalent professional tax qualification required.
Proven expertise in global tax planning and compliance.
Strong understanding of international tax frameworks, including OECD, BEPS, and local jurisdictional tax rules.
Experience managing complex, multi-entity structures across multiple tax jurisdictions.
Fluent English and Hungarian language knowledge (both written and spoken)
