Grocery & Services Offer Management Senior Expert position is responsible for accelerating sales and profitability by increasing consumer visit frequency and basket size. Creates and launches the Global Offer Management Strategy including the 4P in Group countries, supports and follows up the local execution.

  • Develops, leads and drives the Category Management process with Country Offer Managers by:
  • Implementation of CATMAN 8 steps Flow and tracking progress in all Group Countries
  • Ensuring the Nielsen Spaceman solution usage in daily Offer management activities
  • Supports the annual business planning process
  • Supervises and continuously re-assesses the Category results vs annual business plan targets
  • Supports the Group commercial calendar, together with Group Retail Marketing team
  • Managing Joint Business Plan value creation process with main group level relevant suppliers
  • Provides Annual Negotiation Guidance
  • Participates in purchase & selling price optimization process
  • Develops and implements Own Brand Strategy with category value & margin maximization focus
  • Shares best practices with fact based evaluation and implementation guidelines
  • Keeps track on latest customer and industry trends, competitor activities
  • Acts as role-model in line with corporate values
  • Economics or Business degree
  • Min. 5 years of relevant offer or category management experience in a multinational supplier / retailer company in key account manager or category manager position. Experience with cross country cooperation is advantage. 
  • Entrepreneurial and commercial mind-set, excellent communication and negotiation skills, good relationship management / team player, customer focused, strong analytical skills.
  • Proven track record in:
    • Grocery / Non-Food business
    • Driving sales gains through application of Category Management
