Company info
We are looking for a Grocery Development Expert to develop and implement standardized grocery category management processes across MOL Group countries. This role will ensure alignment with company regulations and drive sales growth, margin improvement, and operational excellence in key areas such as Assortment, Planogram & Merchandising, and Inventory Management.
You will collaborate with Group cross-functional teams (S&O, Supply Chain) and consult with country grocery teams to launch these processes as standard across all markets. Additionally, you will contribute to macro space planning for SES grocery layouts and support local teams in layout development and approvals.
Tasks
Develop, lead, and implement standard Category Management processes across MOL Group countries in line with CATMAN 8-step methodology.
Conduct range reviews with business case evaluations (listing/de-listing).
Define merchandising principles by category, sub-category, and pack size based on market data and consumer decision trees.
Manage and publish planograms using Nielsen Spaceman in cooperation with S&O teams; monitor SES-level execution.
Establish KPIs for working capital, shelf capacity, inventory space, and stock rotation in collaboration with Supply Chain.
Coordinate with RACID on country-level merchandising and promotional execution.
Support SES grocery layout planning and contribute to Group-level layout approvals.
Prepare corporate regulatory documentation for execution processes.
Share best practices and implementation guidelines based on fact-based evaluations.
Monitor customer trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
Act as a role model in line with MOL Group corporate values.
Requirements
Education: University/College degree in Economics or Business.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in Retail and/or commercial fields; FMCG category management experience preferred. Cross-country cooperation experience is an advantage.

Languages: Fluent in business English.
IT Skills: MS Office proficiency; Nielsen Spaceman knowledge is a plus.
