Responsibilities - Tasks
As a Helpdesk Analyst I, your primary responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact (SPOC) for end-users, providing support for IT-related issues
- Delivering technical assistance via email, chat, phone, and ITSM tools
- Supporting customers in the contracted languages (English and German)
- Troubleshooting and resolving common IT issues, including software, hardware, and network problems
- Using automated diagnostic tools and internal documentation to identify and apply solutions
- Accurately logging issues, progress, and outcomes using helpdesk and ticketing systems
- Escalating complex or unresolved issues to internal or external resolver teams as needed
- Maintaining and improving customer satisfaction by providing consistent, high-quality service
- Adhering to internal processes and contributing to the improvement of procedures and Knowledge Base content
- Ensuring all actions comply with SLA and quality standards
Key Tasks
- Handle basic computer, software, and connectivity issues
- Use available tools to identify, resolve, or escalate incidents in a timely manner
- Document all interactions and resolutions clearly in the system
- Collaborate with colleagues and resolver teams to ensure seamless issue resolution
- Provide proactive updates to users and follow up until issues are resolved
- Deliver customer support with strong interpersonal skills and a professional attitude
- Identify recurring problems and report patterns that may require further investigation or process improvements
Requirements
- Excellent command of English and German, both written and spoken
- Secondary School Certificate is mandatory
- Availability to work 24/7 shifts
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all client levels
- Proven ability to think analytically and find creative solutions to technical problems
- Genuine interest in IT and eagerness to develop technical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Detail-oriented with a thorough approach to problem-solving and task completion
- Adaptable and open to change in a dynamic work environment
- Proficient in using computers and familiar with key software packages, especially Microsoft Office 365
