GERMAN SPEAKER PAYROLL ASSOCIATE

INTRODUCTION 

This role is part of the Payroll processing team of our client. This role should be able to process & maintain the accuracy and timeliness for processing paychecks for the employees and responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the employee data and need to communicate with clients via phone and emails as & when required. Also need to handle the additional requests from the client during the Payroll cycle understanding the criticality of the process. Readiness to take challenges during the payroll cycle. 

FUNCTION

  • Process monthly & weekly payroll (including benefits, sick leave payment and taxes to all employees), maintaining time sheet compliance consistent with corresponding laws.
  • Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system
  • Distribute and collect the tax related and extra holidays forms & documents
  • Manage the reporting to external authorities (monthly, quarterly, annual) including answering ad hoc questions of the external authorities, Tax office.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education in Human Resources / Economics / Finance / Psychology / Payroll certified
  • Business fluency in German and English 
  • Having a good understanding of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge in Payroll Processing Cycle (end to end)
  • An understating of manual payroll calculations
  • Knowledge of Payroll Process and system, Employee eligibility requirements, understanding of payroll processing and associated tools
  • 1 -3 years experience in the execution of certain tasks
  • IT skills: relevant working knowledge in ERP systems (Workday, Peoplesoft, SAP,etc..)
