Responsibilities

We are looking for our new Master Data Specialist to join our Group Material Master team. Amongst others, this function plays an important part in our product business, ensuring high quality data management, proactive issue resolution and continuous improvement. Joining to this role, you will have the chance to improve your career in a multinational environment and deepen your knowledge about IT industry, technologies, and product supply chain.

On a daily basis:

Preparation of manufacturer material data for maintenance business
Access and research technical device information’s in manufacturers and suppliers data sources
Compile the search result of data into Computacenter standardized system specifications
Creating, maintaining and updating material master data in SAP
Monitoring and checking automatically created materials
Managing all ‘Source of Supply’ settings for SAP materials
Managing lifecycle status for materials
Monitoring and managing enhanced product content fed by providers, processing records to correct inaccurate or missing content
Collaborating with other functions to optimise quality of product presentation
Providing daily, weekly, monthly or ad hoc reports.

Requirements

You are fluent in English and French
You have at least 1 year of experience in complex data management
You are interested in a back office role and able to handle details in a precise way
You have experience working with ERP systems - preferably SAP
You have knowledge of IT industry and understanding of IT technologies and products is an advantage
You are confident with MS office and have a strong Excel knowledge (Macro, VBA & SQL are advantage)
You are able to prioritise and handle multiple requests simultaneously
You have experience working in a multinational team
You are able to manage customer expectations and resolve significant customer issues whilst moving the business forward.
