What success looks like in this role:

  • Apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Provide problem resolution for HR related issues that may be non-standard within defined practices and procedures. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Respond to inbound queries via the service management system (ask HR), or email, in a positive client facing manner. All enquiries should be captured in the service management system, which should be updated at each stage until the enquiry is resolved and the ticket/call can be closed.
  • Take ownership of each enquiry and strive to achieve a first time resolution with a recognized service level agreement (SLA) by drawing on understanding of policies, procedures, processes and knowledge artefacts.
  • Where the nature of the enquiry will not allow an immediate resolution, provide the enquirer with a mutually satisfactory follow up plan. Refer the query to the correct recognized escalation route and monitor until the query is resolved within the agreed time period, through to closure within the service management system. Where a query is in danger of exceeding an SLA take action to expedite the matter.
  • On behalf of the specified geography the HR Analyst will perform routine (weekly/monthly/quarterly) administrative tasks for a number of key HR processes.
  • New Hires: Facilitate the new hire process and ensure that required administration is completed to successfully integrate the new employee in the relevant company systems
  • Employee lifecycle management: Working within the working instructions, execute any employee changes that require a HR action or involvement, escalate to local country HR any changes that fall outside the recognized control mechanisms.
  • Termination: Ensure that all employees who leave Unisys are processed through the recognized exit process and that all actions are completed in a timely fashion, meeting all governance requirements.
  • 3rd Party enquiries: respond to queries from any 3rd parties (internal or external) providing information within recognized formats (e.g. landlord or previous employment references) and on an ad-hoc basis where release of information is permitted / required (e.g. information for internal HR partners or Managers)
  • Reward and benefits: Where required work with global rewards colleagues to manage the administration of any benefit programs ensuring that the correct entitlements are observed, and liaising with the 3rd party benefit provider is required.
  • Payroll administration – act as an interface between the country and the external payroll provider, ensuring that all data feeds required between payroll and HR are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Absence management coordination
  • Respond to requests from in-country or regional HR colleagues to support ad-hoc projects and initiatives. Provide input where required, ensure that any data provided is accurate.
  • Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
  • Cooperate with senior team members and proactively work on regionally/globally led projects and create project deliverables on a timely manner.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, HR degree is an advantage, strong interest in HR
  • Must have excellent French, English and Hungarian language skills
  • German language is an advantage
  • 1-2 years of experience, preferably in multinational (or SSC) environment
  • High levels of competency in MS Office
  • Strong analytical and multitasking skills, ability to assess data
  • Detail orientated and able to work in a highly structured manner
  • Solution-oriented attitude, strong customer-focus mindset, team-player attitude
  • Reliable personality with strong work ethic attitude
