The three pillars of Financial Risk Management:

• Quantification of risks stemming from Commodity, FX and IR volatility using advanced quantitative and econometric techniques

• Risk Control function for all trading, hedging and financial investment activities

• Advisory services on Discount Rates (WACC and Country Risk Premiums).

• Monitor, analyse, and measure commodity risk MOL Group is exposed to and formulate risk mitigation actions;

• Develop new analytics by employing advanced quantitative and econometric techniques;

• Provide independent risk oversight to ensure that all trading activities are authorized and remain within mandated exposure, tenor and risk measure (e.g. VaR) limits;

• Support the derivative pricing and VaR calculation process;

• Prepare reports for top management;

• Estimate the discount rate for planning, project evaluation and impairment calculation purposes.

• University or college degree in the field of finance or mathematics;

• Strong spreadsheet/modelling skills;

• 2-3 year experience in risk management or consultancy or financial analitics;

• Strong communication skills (fluent in English), ability to deliver key messages succinctly;

• Detail oriented, deep understanding of financial markets, derivatives and related risk measures;

• Willingness to learn about the oil industry;

• Intermediate VBA/SQL is expected, basic Python is an advantage.
