Finance manager

Key Responsibilities

1. ​Leadership & Compliance Management
   • Lead and manage the CAIP Hungary Plant finance and controlling team, ensuring standardized financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and conducting monthly financial reviews.
   • Establish effective communication channels between headquarters (HQ) and the Hungary Plant to align strategic objectives.
2. ​Budgeting & Performance Optimization
   • Develop annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and analyze variances between actual performance and budget/forecasts. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
   • Proactively identify business trends, risks, and opportunities, collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate risks and capitalize on growth potential.
3. ​Business Partnering & Cost Control
   • Support new business proposals, project bids, and margin improvement initiatives as a strategic partner to the plant manager.
   • Design and implement cost modeling and lifecycle costing frameworks to optimize cost controls during the design phase. Drive process efficiencies in financial workflows.
4. ​Project Decision Support
   • Participate in capital investment evaluations for major projects, delivering cost-benefit analyses and economic impact assessments to inform capacity expansion strategies.
5. IT Function
   • ERP- SAP implementation and optimization , especially focusing on the integration of FI/CO with MM,SD and PP to ensure synchronization of financial data and business data
   • interoperability between EDI, MES and other systems and SAP
   • Infrastructure maintenance ,network architecture optimization
   • Maintenance of plant IT hardware and software (printers, scanners, Microsoft office etc.)
