Finance Director

Reporting to the Deputy CEO of Operations, the Finance Director is responsible for ensuring the financial stability, transparency, and long-term sustainability of the company. As a key member of the leadership team at Óbuda Group provides strategic financial direction while maintaining hands-on operational management and control over accounting, compliance, and administrative functions.

The Finance Director acts as a strategic business partner to the leadership team, enabling informed decisions that drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Operational Leadership

• Lead and supervise the Statutory Accounting and Tax function
• Oversee Controlling, Payroll and Legal operations, while also responsible for supervising the managerial assistance and support functions
• Responsible for AR Management, debt collection and plan compliance reviews
• Ensure effective controlling and financial compliance
• Provide leadership and direction to the teams involved in the role
• Manage external partners: banking and financing institutions, insurance providers, auditors, legal advisors, authorities and healthcare providers.
• Supervise facility management and maintenance of our own office building, including reception and office management

Strategic Leadership

• Drive and manage financial planning, forecasting and reporting, aligned with company growth objectives
• Compilation and maintenance of annual accounting plans and performance of monthly controlling.
• Oversee the company’s financial resources and manage its overall economic operations
• Develope and regularly review internal policies related to the area of responsibility
• Upgrade and strengthen the corporate governance framework
• Lead the development of advanced data management systems, leverage automation
• Modernize financial and operational processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and scalability
• Act as a proactive, strategic business partner to the executive team
