Responsibilities

Lead contract negotiations with market data providers for BlackRock's Aladdin platform
Advise the business and clearly communicate requirements to stakeholders on new initiatives and projects for the Aladdin Business
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders such as Data, Legal, Finance, and Product to deliver solutions for Aladdin clients
Track new service offerings, market trends and extract the greatest value from existing contracts and relationships
Engage with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business strategy
Handle requests for new or changed access to services, chargeback reporting, contract administration, market data invoice processing and general inquiry handling
Perform initial due diligence for all new vendors and ongoing performance management to limit risk and ensure satisfactory delivery of service

Requirements

Minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience
Prior experience negotiating market data or FinTech contracts is required
Understanding market data usage in conjunction with modern technologies such as Cloud, Kafka, and AI
Strong analytical skills to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and deliver high-quality work product
Self-starter, organized, diligent, proactive, extremely detail oriented and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external data providers
Ability to effectively communicate requirements and perspective/analysis to internal stakeholders and provide recommended solutions
Strong excel and PowerPoint skills
